Junior Swimming
Swimming SA is pleased to announce the commencement of a Bridging Squad for children 8-18 years old who have a disability. The Squad aims to be an intermediate step between learn to swim and mainstream swimming club.
The Swimming SA Gators commenced their training in July 2006 at various locations across Adelaide. Gators provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for those who wish to swim for recreational purposes yet also provides competitive training for those who would like to become part of the Swim SA Family. Through out the program there will be numerous opportunities for Gators participants and their friends, family and carers to explore the world of competitive swimming through introduction days with local swim clubs and opportunities for swimmers to then graduate out of the Gators program and join a mainstream program.
